Eden4flowers.co.uk is a family run business offering next day flowers, gift and hamper delivery nationwide. They are completely dedicated to their customer satisfaction and simply delivering the best service and value.
Mark and Mhairi Keating have over 20 years hands on experience in the flower industry having owned and run a successful chain of florist outlets in the South West. Mark has previously been employed at Interflora UK Ltd in the role of Company Director and then Chairman of Interflora British Group Ltd with key international responsibilities.
The Eden team are particularly driven and demand the most from their business including us as their online marketing team. The business is a dedicated e Commerce venture with all their business generated online.
They have enjoyed growth with the business over the last few years and are looking to the future for growth and development of infrastructure and the business in general over 2006/7.

Our relationship with Eden 4 Flowers is very strong. When you help someone out of a potentially damaging event quickly and efficiently; they see how dedicated you are to their project. We recovered Eden's site from a Google ban (details below) quickly and with authority when it mattered.
Now we are looking at not only the development of the relationship, but consistant development of his business.

Eden was having some success with it's current program of Optimisation, but it was waining and the full time individual that was taken on to work on the project, was simply not delivering the goods.
The brief was to increase the traffic and raise the profile under the most cost effective terms that his business could work towards. We analysed the terms and helped them to decide on the main campaign of competitive and high traffic terms.
The florist industry is incredibly competitive and has an increasingly staturated market online, we identified the gap in the market that would give the most cost effective traffic and worked towards that.
As we took on the client, we also realised that the techniques that had provided the traffic to date, were definitely 'black hat' so we had to deal with these as effectivelt as possible.

Once the terms were analysed and the campaign focus agreed on, we advised that the many spam pages that existed on the domain were removed and replaced by our work over the next scheduled period.
Unfortunately, before we had worked on the files and had the opportunity to replace the pages, the site was banned. The client was clearly distraught, but we negotiated with Google and got the client site reinstated in short order. The site could have been down for a tremendous period; but we showed the Google team our files and the type of page that was to replace the 'spam' pages and they agreed to reinstate. Clearly, they were keeping a close eye on the site and any associated sites, but we were able to bring his site back up to authority within a very short period of time and it has stayed there since.

The fact that Eden has just enjoyed a like for like increase on last Valentines day, after a Google ban was good enough for us; Eden have numerous first page positions, that are confidential, but the trading increase is all the proof we need that we are providing the valuable service for our client.
