the client - Biodigester

Biodigester are a rapidly growing small business based in Somerset. Originally, an arm of Burnham Environmental Services when we first introduced our services in 2003, after the first 12 months, they started trading as Biodigester Ltd in 2005 and haven't looked back since.
They are specialists in On-Site Sewage treatment for rural homes as well as rural industrial units, pub and hotels. Their revolutionary system is the modern replacement for the traditional septic tank. They are all environmentally friendly and have systems operating throughout the UK.
Biodigester have also developed new business in Spain and are about to expand into France.

We have being running a mixture of campaigns for Biodigester since late 2003 and we are due to expand the campaigns as the company opens new markets in more countries in Europe. We continue to provide the best results and increasing returns for the company year on year.

the brief
|
Our brief from Biodigester originally was to test the viability of the internet channel for their industry, it was early days for this product and a large portion of the marketing spend was offline in print and magazines.
We were tasked with launching the site, built by Iconography, to increase the incoming enquiries that were flat and expensive to acquire.

the solution
|
Our solution included the implementation and management of a pay per click campaign which provided immediate results. We optimised the campaign to ensure the best cost per click was obtained and increase the traffic from the same budget through the first half of 2004, this proved to be so reliable and successful that the project was increased in Nov 04 to include the long term approach of search engine optimisation.
We had also by this time started to look at a Spanish campaign and the possibilities. We worked with Biodigester to expand the project to include these extra campaigns and launched another version of the site (from Iconography) in Spain.
The whole project is still running and may soon include the French campaign.

The results for Biodigester have been significant with a year on year increase of 100% in turnover and enquiries for the business and the expansion into other European markets made possible with our work. We have enable Biodigester to increase his turnover by 200% since our engagement.
